[!CAUTION] BREAKING CHANGES for Addon/Pack Devs

  • Block Rendering and Dynamic Renders
  • Many of RelativeDirection's methods have been renamed
  • Machine Ownership & Teams now always track the player who placed the machine
  • Reworked recipe modifiers, capabilities, and distinctness handling
  • Reworked the item decomposition info system and crafting components
  • Added support for multi-amp recipes
  • Removal of chance boosting; all recipes now yield a flat % chance and do not change when overclocked ; Chance boosting exists still for packdevs but is considered DEPRECATED and will be removed in the next update in the coming months.

Addon developers will have to adjust to the incoming changes ; documentation will follow within the next week - for those who need to simply do small ports feel free to reach out to us and we can help you in #modern-addons

  • More Plasma types as well as plasma turbine fuels
  • Ore prospecting now displays in chat
  • DEVS: Gamestage, FTB Quests, and Hercales recipe conditions
  • DEVS: real XOR Chance Logic
  • Ranged Fluid recipe outputs
  • Armor now shows its energy charge
  • New Bauxite Process from 1.12.2 GTCEu - Check your titanium setups!
  • Long Rods are now made with the forge hammer
  • Multiblocks will display their structure dimensions when holding shift
  • Capes! check out /gtceu cape to get started
  • Shift + Right Clicking a placed bus or hatch will swap it from input to output
  • Ender Fluid cover is now functional
  • Color Input seperation; Coloring buses and hatches the same color will treat them as one group on multiblocks NOTE: Dual Hatches will be deprecated by 8.0.0 and removed entirely by 9.0.0
  • Super Chests/Tanks can now be used as storage containers inside of UI's like fluid cells/backpacks
  • Computercraft Initial Support for machine control, recipe progress, and Power Substation Monitoring
  • Batch mode; all recipes a machine can run will be merged together into one large recipe up to 5 seconds ; useful for stopping machine flickering
  • DEVS: Added support for multi-amp recipes
  • DEVS: Cleanroom door block tag
  • The Large Maceration Tower now will crush entities standing on the crushing wheels
  • And many new recipe additions

Changes

  • Electric items now show energy charge
  • Better Muffler smoke - now respects your particle settings!
  • Large Brewing Vat no longer has a muffler - allowing cleanroom usage.
  • Pollution is now disabled by default; It'll be re-enabled in the future after a rework.
  • DEVS: Allow multiblocks to disable circuit slots on multiparts
  • Changed item IDs for Wire Cutters and Advanced Nanosuit Jetplate
  • JADE/TOP energy information now supports the PSS and covers properly
  • [AE2] ME Stocking buses/hatches with auto-pull enabled now auto sort contents by amount
  • Removed the Long Rod Casting Mold

  • Fixed nightvision flickering
  • Fixed duplicated displays of mB in fluid hatches
  • Fixed hatches now updating when rotated/changed
  • Fixed Facades coloring grass
  • Fixed Parallel logic to drastically improve TPS with larger bases
  • Fixed multiblocks from sending too many neighboring updates for active blocks
  • Fixed recently connected pipes not transfering contents/power/etc
  • Fixed tool charging resetting block breaking progress
  • Fixed many renders through the mod
  • Fixed many issues regarding Long-Distance Pipelines
  • Fixed various cases of the player hand not being animated during interactions
  • Fixed Combustion generators not be able to be placed vertically
  • Fixed GT Tools with EMI Crafting auto-fill
  • Fixed Large boilers exploding consistently and randomly and constantly and in all other random cases beyond player error
  • Fixed various cover behavior on buses and hatches
  • Fixed Research holders crashing if the research output was only a fluid
  • Fixed CWU outputs being handled as a negative value
